The session ended. Claude Code closed. Cursor crashed. Clawdbot restarted. The next chat starts blank — unless the memory is yours.
For one tool: Cursor · Claude Code · Clawdbot.
That is the product. Not a backup pitch. A future you can buy today: the agent keeps its memory when the chat dies.

The chat is not the memory
Claude Code, Cursor, and Clawdbot already remember things. Rules files. MCP configs. Composer threads. Workspace SQLite. A soul.md. The problem is ownership.
That memory lives where the vendor put it. Close the window and you cannot search last Tuesday. Switch machines and you start over. The agent that knew your repo, your taste, your constraints — gone with the tab.
A transcript export is not a memory layer. A chat history is not a restore.
What you actually keep
SaveState snapshots the identity, not the window:
- Claude Code — instructions, tools, project memory, conversation state.
- Cursor — MCP servers, rules, Composer history from workspace storage.
- Clawdbot — agent identity, memories, and the config the next process needs to be the same agent.
Each snapshot is a SaveState Archive, encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it leaves the machine. You hold the passphrase. We never see the keys.
Search it later. Restore it on another box. Move it across clients. The chat can die. The archive does not.
Pro is the path a stranger can take
The CLI is open source. That is the developer path. The product a stranger can buy today is SaveState Pro — $9/month:
- Scheduled auto-backups
- Cloud storage (10GB)
- All platform adapters
- Search across snapshots
- Web dashboard
- Email alerts on backup failures
Need shared snapshots and an audit log? Team is $29/month.
There is no waitlist. The Payment Link is live.
Keep the memory. Lose the chat.
Subscribe to Pro. The agent that knew you this morning still knows you tomorrow.

If you live in the terminal
Pro does not replace the CLI. It sits on top of it. Developers who want the local path first:
npm install -g @savestate/cli
savestate init
savestate snapshot
Then subscribe when you want scheduled cloud snapshots and search you did not have to host.
